Using saved reports in Salesforce is nice, but using SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) expands your possibilities to pull data from Salesforce into Grow.
But how do you know what fields you can use in your queries? Here's how.
First, log in to your Salesforce account. At the top of the page, click on Setup.
In the left-hand panel of that page, scroll down until you see the Build section. When you find it, expand the Customize sub-menu.
This is the list of all of the fields you have that are available in your Salesforce data. In each section under Customize, you have another sub-menu to expand. Each one (or most) will have a page called Fields. Go ahead and click on that.
This page will show you the fields that are available. You'll use the name that is in the Field Name column.
You'll find custom fields in a section below the standard fields. Note that any custom fields your organization has created will have
__c at the end of the field name (or API Name). This is a double underscore, so if you decide to type it in manually, be sure that you type it in correctly, with two underscores before the c, not just one.
