NOTE: Grow does not support any version of Magento above v2.0.
Here's how to connect your Magento account to Grow. Please note that connecting to Magento can be difficult. Unless you follow these instructions exactly, you may run into errors while connecting.
Please also note that if, after you initially connect, you make any changes to your account settings, you will need to re-authenticate your Magento account to Grow.
You'll need to do some preliminary setup in Magento before you can connect your account to Grow.
First, you'll set up the consumer keys.
Next, you'll need to add new consumer keys.
Copy the consumer key and consumer secret, then click save.
Next you'll need to set up the admin role. Click the System tab, navigate to Web Services, and click on REST Roles.
On the right-hand side, click the Add Admin Role button.
You'll need to fill in the role name and enter the current admin password. Once you are done, press the Save Role button on the right side.
Next, you'll need to add API resources to the role. Make sure once you add the data you want to allow access to, you press the Save Role button on the right side.
After you've done that, you'll add the admin role to the user. Go back up to the System tab, select permissions, then select Users from the sub-menu.
Once you are on the Users page, click on the user to whom you want to give the Admin role.
Once you are on the user's page, click REST Role from the left-hand pane.
Check the box next to your admin user, then click Save User.
After you've done all of that, go ahead and log in to your Grow account. Press Add Metric, then select Magento from the list of data sources. You'll need to connect or add a new auth to your account.
Go ahead and fill in the fields above.
Once you press submit, you will be brought to a Magento login page. Go ahead and sign in.
And that's it! You are all set to build metrics.
