When pulling in the Cost field from Google Adwords, you’ll see that the cost data comes through as a longer string of numbers than you would expect.

Divide by 1 million

Google Adwords’s API data gives monetary amounts in micro cents. This means that for any money values, it will need to be divided by 1 million to get the value in dollars and cents.

Grow adds a new column and automatically divides by 1 million to automatically convert to standard currency amounts for you.

SQL Solution

You can also divide by 1 million using SQL.

Go to the SQL box in data settings and enter in this code:

SELECT cost/1000000

from report

group by 1

Hit connect, and you will see the Adwords cost in a dollar figure.
