Key values can call out or highlight important parts of your data on a metric. This video shows you how to add a key value in context of building a metric.

In this video, we go through creating a custom metric in order to set up the key value. If you want to skip to the portion about setting up a key value, start at minute marker 2:14.

To add a Key Value:

  1. Expand the Key Value header.
  2. Click the blue “Add Key Value” button.
  3. Click the respective cell in the spreadsheet. The Key Value will appear at the top left of your metric.
  4. You can then label it by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the key value you just added. Find the field that says "Key Value Label" and give it a title. The label will show up beneath the value itself on your metric.

Key values also let you add a comparison value in order to compare growth between two time frames. Check out How to Add a Comparison Value for more info.
