Sometimes our users need to display an image on a metric dashboard. Here is how.

Log in to your account and connect a data source.
If the image is a URL coming from a specific data source, connect to that data source.
Otherwise you can connect to any data source you wish.

Once you've connected your data source, you'll select data for that report. If you have a specific data source for your image, make sure that the URLs look like they are pulling the correct image.

If you are not pulling your images through a specific data source, it doesn't matter what data you select. You will need a URL for the image.

In the Edit Metric screen, click Column to reveal the various chart types, then select Image.

On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see an Image URL section. Here you can enter the image URL.

If you need help getting the URL for an image, we wrote an article about how you can upload an image to a free image host to get the URL. Check that article out here.

Once you've inserted or chosen your image URL, go ahead and make sure your metric looks right. Give it a title and save it to a dashboard.

And that's it! You're good to go.
