Q: When connecting to Salesforce, if I connect to saved report, will refreshing also refresh the report? I want to check if I need to manually update the report in Salesforce before I refresh the metric in Grow.
A: You won't need to manually update your Salesforce. Every time it is refreshed in Grow it actually is as if you were to hit "run report." The only thing to keep in mind is that when Grow calls from a saved report, it uses the time frame/date range that you have selected in Salesforce for that report. So if you selected the month of October, it will only ever run the month of October. Selecting dynamic date ranges in Salesforce will ensure your data is dynamic in Grow.

Q: My Salesforce data connections keep disconnecting. How can I fix this?
A: Sometimes having multiple connections to the same data sources can de-authorize some of your previous data connections. If you find that Salesforce keeps disconnecting, it might be that you have created multiple connections to the same account. This is a problem because the refresh token on the newest connection is expiring the refresh token on the previous connection.

Please contact us at support@grow.com to let us know if this is the case. We can go in and merge the separate Salesforce authorizations into one, so that you won’t see this error in the future.

Q: Do I need a specific Salesforce edition to connect it to Grow?

A: Yes. Your organization needs to be on the Enterprise tier in Salesforce. Read more on our help article about it.
