On occasion, you may see an exclamation point in the corner of one or more of your metrics. If you recently changed the password on that specific data connection, or if the sign-in token has expired, this icon will show up. This means that you need to re-authenticate the data source.
Reconnecting is really easy. First go into Settings, then click on Data Sources from the left-hand menu.
From here, find the data connection for your metric. You can use the search bar at the top of the page to find the data source. Double check that you are reconnecting the correct auth (i.e. the data auth you own).
On the right-hand side, the refresh icon will be red.
Go ahead and click that icon.
This will bring up the connection page for that specific data source. Each data source will have different requirements (entering an API key or just signing in). You'll need to go through those steps required to reconnect.
If you go to the dashboard after reconnecting and still see errors on those metrics, do a hard refresh of your browser window. The exclamation point should disappear.
That's it! You are good to go.
