Adding Notes to Dashboards

Sometimes you might want to just have text on your dashboard that you can update at any time, like right before a meeting. Grow lets you add a dashboard note to your dashboard to write out any important details you may need to jot down.

Permissions

To edit a dashboard, you must have the Manage Dashboards permission. If you believe you need this functionality but do not have it, talk with an admin for the account of your organization.

Adding a Dashboard Note

To add a dashboard note:

  1. Click Dashboard Actions button on your dashboard.
  2. Select Add Note from the menu.

Your dashboard note can move and expand/contract similar to a regular metric tile.

Editing Your Note

  1. To edit your note, click within the text box or use the three-dot menu and select Edit Note.
  2. To change the title, go to the edit view and click the pencil icon in the upper left corner. This will highlight the title, allowing you to enter a new one.
  3. Use the toolbar to format your text as needed.
