Following sections list the changes occurred in Grow in May 2023 for release versions GA 10.0.0 and GA 10.1.0.
Account Settings
- User Settings: Added the ability for Analyst users to display the token list used for creating embedded views
- Slack: Fixed a bug where some table charts were showing the data in a collapsed format
- Slack: Added a tooltip when sending a direct message to explain why your user must be one of the selected recipients
Builder
- Basic Builder: Fixed a bug where some date formats were not displaying correctly
- Chart: Updated the options when using the Slice chart transform to show that multi-sort and sorting with an uncharted column are not available
- Chart: Fixed a bug where some metrics could not rename, recolor or adjust the custom sorting in the Slice chart transform
- Chart: Fixed a bug with the Sort & Limit transform where entering the limit amount required you to click the input box every time a number was entered
- Data: Fixed a bug where some multiple auth dropdown checkboxes were not keeping the selected values checked
- Data: Fixed a bug where some account admins could not view connections created by other users on the account
- Data: Added the ability to use custom sorting for the Sort & Limit transform on the Data side of the Builder
- Data: Updated the Format as Date transform to not allow transform of a Timestamp column since it is already in a date and time format
Dashboard
- Add Members: Improved the flow for inviting new users from the dashboard to give better feedback when actions are being performed
- Expanded View: Fixed a bug on the Details tab where clicking on the “Shared on dashboards” link was not opening the metric in the selected dashboard
- Metric Tile: Updated the metric tile info display to wrap the text onto the next line so that long metric descriptions or owner names do not increase the width of the display
Mobile Application
- Updated the login behavior to force a new login after the app version is updated
- Updated the app to retry if the internet connection is lost or network is changed
- Fixed a bug with the Android app where using the device’s back button would cause the app to get stuck on the Loading Chart screen
- Fixed a bug with the Android and iOS app where the data sources section was showing all data sources instead of the ones used to build the metric
- Fixed a bug with the Android and iOS app where applying a filter was causing the chart to show a No Data screen
- Updated the metric loading experience to load fewer metrics at once so that the charts will be visible faster
Data Source
- Follow Up Boss: Fixed a bug where some reports were giving errors
- Google Analytics: Updated the connection validation method to stay current with the upcoming deprecation of UA properties
- MySQL Warehouse: Added the ability to force specific table columns into a date format
- MySQL Warehouse: Updated the behavior when an SSH channel error is received to mark the connection as invalid, which will let you know it needs to be reconnected
- SQL Server Warehouse: Improved error messaging and updated the behavior when all tables are in an error state to mark the connection as invalid, which will let you know it needs to be reconnected
Beta Features
- Active Campaign Warehouse: Moving the eCommerce Customers, Orders, and Order Products warehouse tables into alpha testing
- Box Warehouse: Added breadcrumbs showing the folder pathway for the end file
- Custom REST API Warehouse: Added error handling and messaging
- Custom REST API Warehouse: Added resume logic to allow large amounts of data to pick up pulling data where they left off
- Dropbox Warehouse: Added breadcrumbs showing the folder pathway for the end file
- Embedding: Added the name and id of the Grow dashboard to the info for each embedded metric

- LinkedIn Warehouse: Fixed a bug where the Organization Share Statistics table was showing an error because it was trying to bring back data older than 1 year
- Pipedrive Warehouse: Removed incremental sync from tables where it is not available through the Pipedrive API
- Shopify Warehouse: Added fields for location data to the Fulfillment Orders (Formatted) and the Fulfillment Orders Line Items tables
- TikTok Ads Warehouse: Beginning initial testing
- TSheets Warehouse: Fixed a bug where some tables were giving errors
- Xero Warehouse: Added tracking categories to the Journals – Journal Lines table
