Data sources will all bring in your data based on a different time zone. Some will base it all on UTC or Unix time, and others will let you specify your time zone or use the time zone where the company or their servers are based. This can lead to issues when you want to look at several reports in one chart or dashboard.
Setting your account's time zone will make sure that Grow is being consistent when you apply any transforms to the data. It will also ensure that when you schedule a report to send at the end of the day or month, it will send it according to your time zone, not UTC, and metrics won't turn over to the next day earlier or later than expected.
This is especially important when using metics based on data coming from Databases, CRMs, and Ecommerce software.
