What's the difference between the "owner_name" and the "createdby" ID properties from the Hubspot "Engagements - All" report?

Can you explain the difference between the "owner_name" and the "createdby" ID properties from the Hubspot "Engagements - All" report? Ultimately, we want to know which field to use to track who has been making specific activities like calls, emails, etc. Originally, I thought the created by ID and owner name would always be the same. But I did a left join on the "List Owners" report I found out that there are discrepancies between the created by ID and owner name.

It is possible that an engagement could be created by someone who doesn't perform the engagement activity, so it would be best to use the "owner_name" field if youo're looking for who actually performed the action.

The "ownerId" is going to be the user whom is assigned to the engagement. "createdById" will be associated to whichever user created the engagement, though they may not necessarily own it.
