This article will give you an overview of how to build and use the bar + line chart in Grow.
Use Cases
Comparison of categories. You could use this chart type to compare the data for the current period for a sales rep (bar) and the same period for the previous quarter, month, week, etc. (line). This can be tweaked to be leads by source or any other category comparisons.
Count vs. cumulative sum. This one can be used with a daily lead count or count of deals closed, along with a cumulative sum.
Building a Bar + Line Chart
To build a bar + line chart, first log in to your Grow account and click Add Metric. Choose your data source, connect your data, and press Continue.
In Edit Metric, click on the chart type menu at the top left to view the list of charts, and select Bar + Line Chart.

Next, you will need to select your data series. Note that by default, the first data series you select will be the bar, and any subsequent data series you select will be a line. You can change the format (bar or line) of each in the Data Series Type dropdown of the data series settings. You can also change the line thickness and style, and choose to display round bullets fore each data point on the line.
Using 2-Value Axes
One chart feature that may be useful when using a Bar + Line Chart is 2-value axes. 2-value axes are useful when each data series may be on a different scale.
For example, if my sales revenue is in the thousands, but my actual count of sales is in the hundreds, 2-value axes would allow you to see both without one data series dwarfing the other because of its relative size.
To enable 2-value axes, expand the Display section under Settings. Make sure the Enable 2 Value Axes checkbox is selected.

Please note that when you enable 2-value axes, your metric will only be able to support two data series. Any additional series you have selected will not be displayed.
Finally, be sure to add chart labels and key values to your chart.
